I read a statement in a Oswald Chambers' book that said:
Let the attitude of your life be a continual willingness to "go out" in dependence upon God, and your life will have a sacred and inexpressible charm about it that is very satisfying to Jesus. You must learn to "go out" through your convictions, creeds, or experiences until you come to the point in your faith where there is nothing between yourself and God.”
Such an attitude of heart is the true lasting meaning of…

I know there are people who have actually gone from misery to happiness, but they didn’t do it by walking through three steps; they did it because they had a certain set of parents and heard a certain song and knew somebody who had a certain experience and saw some movie, read some book, had something happen to them like a car wreck or a trip to Seattle. Then they called on God, and a week later read something in a magazine or met a girl in Wichita, and when all this had happened they had an…

"One of the greatest snares is the number of good things we might do. Jesus Christ never did the good things He might have done, He did everything He ought to do because He had His eyes fixed on His Father's will and He sacrificed Himself for His Father" - OSWALD CHAMBERS
God bless!

I've always liked that statement. No matter where we are in our lives, we can all be used for God's glory. Usually we are all on our way "somewhere", but being in the present moment and doing God's will in it is usually a challenge. I have goals- you have goals and we all make plans. However, God has us right where we are at each moment to be a witness and share the gospel...as St Francis said, "Preach the gospel at all times and when necessary use words." I love that. I try to stay in the…

Reading a book by Bob Sorge called "Exploring Worship". Felt the need to share:
God will continue to respond to prayer and intercession, but the time will come when He will whisper in our hearts and say, "Sop asking, stop striving, stop interceding, and start praising Me for the victory!" Praise does not dictate to God HOW the answer should come. Many times our prayer requests limit God because we ask Him for things when He would want to answer in a different and fuller…

Dear friends, My heart cries as the tornados are ripping accross America and destroying every thing that belongs to people. That's not good at all. I give this call so that some who get my mail would fast and pray for USA and speak the words of God and his covenant love of blessings and protection over America. God is willing so save as we call in faith and complete trust. America must come under the Grace of…

I wanted to share about my time last night singing for a nursing facility in Port Chester, NY.
I was invited to sing praise & worship songs for the residents. A good friend of mine currently lives there.
She is 50 yrs old and has Multiple Sclerosis.
I have so much to tell, but besides my good friend enjoying herself listening to the music and singing a couple on the microphone as well, I met a man named Joe in the audience.
Joe was kicking his leg up and…

I have been singing at nursing homes lately. For whatever reason, this has become something very dear to my heart.
What is it about elderly people that makes me want to keep going back to love them? Well, I think it gives me a
perspective on life. This will be me, this will be you, this will be all of us someday.
They live in facilities where some feel they are forgotten, some are depressed, sad, lonely and hanging on day by…

My name if Victoria and I have been kicked out of my house today. I was renting a room from a friend and he has just obtained a girlfriend who was unhappy with me living there. I have been there since April 2010 and suddenly I heard this news today, that I must get out asap. I am extremely scared, I don't have many friends, the friends I do have are married or do not have room, or some other excuse. Luckily, my son is staying with his dad now, but he does see me on weekends. He cannot see me…
